Dead wood
Dead wood -

Lake Macintosh is an artificial lake created for hydro electrics. Before flooding the valley they failed to harvest all the vallueable timber standing in it. The dead trees made for an impressive surreal sight, mostly at sunrise, but also possed a serious risk for our rubber boats. Going up and down, done 6 times or so, 4 hours return, we constantly had to be on the look-out for wood just under the surface that could pierce our hulls.
